Aims
We commit ourselves…….
1. To be a flexible framework rather than an organization, in order to facilitate relationships, gather and share information and enable more effective mission mobilisation.
2. To equip people with a better understanding of cross-cultural mission through training and special events.
3. To encourage an integrated international approach to mission in terms of what already exists but also looking for new opportunities to work together.
4. To provide a welcome, show hospitality and practical support to new internationals arriving in Leeds (e.g. asylum seekers, refugees, international students and migrant workers)
5. To hold three major events a year Global Day of Prayer, Celebration of Culture in Briggate and an Open Evening.
6. To encourage mission amongst “unreached people groups” within Leeds and in other nations.
7. To support those working for justice and aid distribution with different nationalities.
8. To research ongoing creative approaches to international mission.
9. To encourage the formation of cross-cultural teams working within the city and in other nations.
